Welcome to class!

 Hello all,

Please use this page to find all the introductory information for our course.

About the instructor:

My name is Sarah Gonzales, and I am beginning my sixth year of teaching and truly feel blessed to be working in a field that I adore. My husband is currently an Algebra teacher and we both love being in education. I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies in 2015. After this, I continued my studies at Tarleton State University where I earned my Master of Arts in Communication Studies, in 2018. I am currently working on my doctoral degree in Sociology (expected graduation: May 2025). My specialized field of study is nonverbal, small group communication, workforce, and social media communication.

As a communications professor, I have the privilege of teaching my passion and playing a role in your academic career. I feel honored to help you navigate the world of speech and learn all the wonderful ways we communicate. Helping students discover how to communicate with people, and find their own voice is my motivation and what drives me every day.
